Preston Clay Hadden, MS CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist and Owner

Clay graduated from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a master’s degree in Speech- Language Pathology in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Winthrop University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. He worked for University Hospital in Augusta, GA and the Medical University of South Carolina before starting Ready, Set, Talk in March of 2016.

Over the last 10 years, Clay has provided intervention to assist individuals with an array of speech and language delays. He focuses largely on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral based feeding.

Clay lives in Charleston, SC with his wife Lisa, and their children, Denver, Kase, and Emma Grace. He used to have hobbies, but now he has children (this is mostly a joke).

Lindsey VanBeusecum, MS CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Lindsey graduated from the University of Toledo with her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University. She completed her clinical fellowship at a private practice in Columbus Ohio, where she gained experience in evaluation and treatment of individuals across the lifespan.  Lindsey enjoys treating all populations and communication disorders, with special interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), early intervention, emergent literacy, and language delays.

Marybeth Burgess, MSP CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Marybeth graduated from the University of South Carolina with her master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Tennessee. She completed her clinical fellowship at an elementary school in Greenville, South Carolina where she gained experience in evaluation and treatment of school aged children.  Marybeth enjoys treating all populations and types of communication disorders, with special interest in emergent literacy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), early intervention, phonological disorders, and language delays.

Renee Kirkland

Billing

After Pursuing a degree in Administration from Tri- County Technical College,  Renee  finally settled into a Career of Medical Billing.  Renee keeps up to date with the ever changing Insurance world through online courses and various work shops. She is the glue of the team!

When not at work Renee along with her Husband HJ and daughter Rylee are involved with various Community Activities and Events.
